Art Exhibitions
In partnership with Aspley community cafe Cup From Above, Wholetone Creative presented an exhibition of artwork by Chris Poulsen entitled “Guide Tones”. A series of eleven oil paintings exploring colour and shape, the works reinterpreted pre-existing visual compositions as Poulsen embellished and exploited the various elements and functionalities within the given arrangements. The opening night featured a solo performance by Chris Poulsen on Rhodes piano, enhancing the sensory experience for the enthusiastic group of art-appreciators in attendance. It was also very exciting to be contributing to the charitable work done by Cup From Above in the local community, as a percentage of sales raised money for homeless persons in the neighbourhood.
