Chris Poulsen Solo Piano
“Chris Poulsen is already known and loved for his dynamic, virtuosic keyboard improvising in small ensemble settings, but when I heard him in solo performance, creatively teasing beauty of line and form out of time-honoured hymns, I was transfixed. It put me in mind of the great Bach exponent, Glenn Gould, and the delving jazz genius of Keith Jarrett, rolled into one.” – Sharny Russell
